About The Department


The Finance department within the Gambia Maritime Administration plays a crucial role in managing the financial resources of the organization effectively and efficiently. The Finance Department has a responsibility to enhance financial transparency and accountability through accurate and timely financial reporting.

The efficient allocation of resources towards the realization of the Administration’s objectives is another major preoccupation of the Finance Department through adequate budgeting and financial planning. This is achieved through financial control internally and compliance with regulations and policies.
