Madam Ida Ndure Gaye is the head of the Training Unit of GMA. She is tasked with making analyses of training needs to develop new training programs or modify and improve existing programs for staff of the Administration. She evaluates instructor performance and the effectiveness of training programs, providing recommendations for improvement and plan training and staff development programs using knowledge of the effectiveness of methods such as on-the-job training, classroom, workshops etc. The Training Manager consults Management and conducts surveys to identify training needs based on projected needs, changes and other factors.

Madam Ndure Gaye has a master’s degree in Public Administration from SUPDECO, MDI, Advance Diploma in Public Administration and Diploma in Public Administration, from MDI. Madam Ndure Gaye previously worked with the Judiciary of the Gambia as a Private Secretary before joining GMA in 2009 where she served in different roles such as Confidential Secretary, Human Resource Officer, Training and Development Officer until her current role as Training and Development Manager. Madam Gaye is one of the pioneer staff of GMA when it was established in 2009 and has remained dedicated and loyal to the Administration. Madam Gaye is a motivated staff and a role model in her determination to learn and excel in her work.
